Mission Statement
The Mission of the Acalanes Center for Independent Study High School is to provide opportunities for students with diverse educational interests and needs to meet their academic goals through a compassionately structured program featuring independent and small group learning.
Schoolwide Learner Outcomes
Graduates of ACIS will be self-directed learners that take responsibility for reaching their personal and academic goals.
Upon graduation, ACIS students are able to demonstrate:
- A range of skills which foster empathy, citizenship, and independence
- A core academic mastery of content and skills in a variety of disciplines and standards
